FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need to be in Jakarta to get involved in a project? There is plenty support that can be done from your own home. Examples include researching different technologies or organizing fundraising events.

How is this program funded?

YE Water Program is supported by individual, corporate and community group donations. Various fundraising activities and in-kind donations provide additional means of support. Fundraising is a continuous effort, and we are grateful for our contributors.

Is YE Water Program involved in the recovery efforts for the Tsunami victims in Sumatra?
Although our program focuses on water aid work for Indonesians in need, we are not directly involved in recovery efforts. Our project solutions assist impoverished Indonesians in Jakarta that are need of clean water, though designs may be replicable for the region. In that respect we are doing our part to help the tsunami victims through support to the many other Indonesians needing access to safe water.

How can I help?
It depends how you want to help. If you are in Jakarta, and want to come with us to one of the community locations, we welcome your participation in our activities. If you are no where near Jakarta, and are interested in participating, fundraising is always appreciated and helps to raise global awareness of the dire need for water aid. Please feel free to contact us with your own ideas of how you would like to help.
