The woman in the photo to the left is filtering her well water through pieces of brick and sponge before washing her family's clothes because the water is so dirty the clothes
will turn color.

Donations — Time and Ideas

Every little bit helps! There are a number of different tasks involved, including preparing environmental education materials for the local grade school for example. Here are some other examples of ways you can contribute your time to help support our community work.
Do you have time print and post this notice?
This YE brochure summarizes the work we do. Please post it somewhere you think may generate interest and spread awareness of our grassroots service work in Indonesia.

Have time to write an article to your local newspaper?
Let other people know some good news about what is being done and what they can do to help communities in the developing world. We invite you to submit a Good News article to your local newspaper.

Does your company match donations?
If you don't know, please ask them about this commendable incentive. If they do, take them up on the offer, and let your colleagues know about it.

The following two links will bring you to information regarding some of our completed project work. The work described does not pertain to specific community locations, but rather is drawn from multiple community studies. We have had a number of interns contribute to different project aspects. One major result from their work is our pilot rainwater collection system made from plastic bottles. Both project features are detailed here.
